The famous kitchen manufacturer has a new Cannes display space encompassing the whole home.
The Italian kitchenology brand has used its move to Rue Constantine to let us know its name should now be associated with revamping the entire home. Yes, this top specialist in contemporary kitchens – the only manufacturer to receive a Compas d’Or lifetime award (1995) and whose creations have marked design history – now has a showroom displaying every aspect of its expertise: kitchens (obviously) plus bathrooms, walk-in wardrobes, storage and all the rest. So no kitchen showroom this, the place is conceived just like a fully-fledged apartment. On entering you find a 120m² modern space featuring four light wells at varying ceiling heights, revealing creations by top design names such as Piero Lissoni. As for furnishings, since Boffi bought up DePadova in 2015 we naturally find the collections of this near-mythic Milan manufacturer whose catalogue reads like a list of design masters: Achille Castiglioni, Pierluigi Cerri, Michele De Lucchi, Charles and Ray Eames, Vico Magistretti, Patricia Urquiola, Patrick Norguet, Nendo... Plus the more confidential MA/U Studio label, which Boffi also now owns, proposes inventive, functional, minimalist storage systems. Finally we must mention the services available, always the hallmark of a great firm. As well as the diverse kitchens on display, anything creative and/or imaginative can be made possible by a team of conceptors able to fulfil your every desire!
