Pliiz is a free-to-customer smartphone app that connects immediately with staff in a retail outlet, service showroom or suchlike: the customer scans the Pliiz code and a staff member responds directly to the call, so no time is wasted. “Customer relations is integral to our firm’s DNA,” states Gregg Vandenbergh, CEO of Nice Solutions. “After the war my grandfather gave a lot of thought to the question, he even came up with a way of catching the waiter’s attention in a restaurant by using a mechanical rod topped with a coloured ball!
