ESPACE LYMPIA  
Pierre Soulages, Creative Energy.
Last winter, he celebrated his hundredth birthday! Famed for his Outrenoirs, those black and light paintings with their captivating textures, Soulages didn’t just produce fascinating canvases. He also produced paintings on paper, etchings and silkscreen prints, an oeuvre of great consistency. Besides presenting this vast technical diversity, the exhibition also highlights the artist's friendships with other painters of his time and illustrious poets such as Léopold Sédar Senghor.

VILLA ARSON  
Four exhibitions to explore.

The Art Centre takes us into the mystical world of Shailesh BR's Brahmans and Zora Mann's psychedelic experiments. While Nice artist Kristof Everart calls into question how we occupy the region, Sol Calero examines the way we perceive domestic spaces as a function of our origins. What makes this artist born in Venezuela and living in Berlin unique? Her incredibly colourful syncretism, in tune with spaces.

MUSÉE MASSÉNA  
The happy years.

Artists exchanged ideas and projects, sharing memorable life moments with Jean and around his gallery. In his jovial and straightforward way, this artist, instinctive photographer, atypical collector, and art dealer, played a part in the heyday of art on the Riviera from the end of the 50s. Some of the artists became close friends, such as Arman and César. Moya has created a cabinet of curiosities here containing 550 objects, as a nod to his former gallery owner.

CENTRE D’ART LA MALMAISON  
Kehinde Wiley, epic painter

For his first solo exhibition in a French institution, the Art Centre is bringing together some 30 paintings and stained glass windows by this American contemporary artist. Wiley brings together art history and street art, reflecting on racial and sexual identity. Reinstating the marginalised, he reinterprets traditional representations of power with clearly critical elan, not without expressing a certain fascination for luxury.

VILLA DOMERGUE  
Louis Cane, Sculptures

The exhibition brings together some 50 works by Louis Cane in the setting of the Art Deco villa designed by Jean-Gabriel Domergue, whose architecture and gardens are equally appreciated. Emanating from those generations of artists trained at the Ecole Nationale des Arts Décoratifs in Nice, he was one of the founding members of the Supports/Surfaces group that called into question the status of painting. This is an opportunity to learn more about his sculpted work, which redoubles references to the past to better deflect them.

ESPACE DE L’ART CONCRET  
New order

To celebrate its 30th anniversary, the EAC is dedicating its summer exhibition to works recently added to its collection, which to date includes more than 700 pieces that form part of the geometric abstraction movement. As a reminder, after Gottfried Honegger and Sybil Albers first donation to the French State in 2000, the couple was able to involve a multitude of artists, galleries and collectors in their project. Very different theoretical propositions for you to discover besides that of Francisco Sobrino, a key figure in kinetic art, whose exhibition has been extended.

VILLA CARMIGNAC  
Prix Carmignac du photojournalisme : 10 ans de reportages

In partnership with the Carmignac Foundation, the Villa shows contemporary art exhibitions in a garden populated by works specially created for the space. Situated on Île de Porquerolles, it also highlights investigative reporting thanks to its Prix de Photojournalisme. For this exceptional summer exhibition, 100 photos have been selected, which bear witness to ten years of photo-reporting on human rights and ecological issues. Engaging images on two floors.

FONDATION MAEGHT  
Jacques Monory

This is the first monographic exhibition dedicated to the artist since he died in 2018. A journey through the 60-year career of this great Narrative Figuration painter, a movement markedly different from the abstract art of the 60s. Monory combines images to create new ones, borrowing from cinema and photography. Delivering a pessimistic, realistic and tragi-comic vision of the world behind his blue filter, the one for night and doubt.
