The Lambert collection hosts the 4th Festival of artists’ residences, themed on «the end of the forests», for a dialogue with the works in the collection itself. Some 50 artists of all disciplines have crept out of the woods to take part. All of them are or have been artist in residence at the Villa Medici in Rome, the Casa de Velasquez in Madrid or the Villa Kujoyama in Tokyo. The show is curated by Cécile Debray, senior curator of heritage and director of the Musée de l’Orangerie. As part of the event, from 11 to 16 October there are encounters, concerts, live shows and performances.
