More than just an assortment of concerts, the Fiesta was always conceived as a collection of shared experiences. No fixed abode, scattered around town but always on the port side, facing the outbound ships.
Promising an exotic journey, this time at J4, ready to embark us for three nights brimming with star turns – Catherine Ringer singing Les Rita Mitsouko, Arno sharing her Belgitude with us; poetry with Fred Nevche’s polished texts; Algerian blues and cosmic rai with Sofiane Saidi; discoveries such as Sovox, the Marseille duo reconnecting with old school punk; an atmosphere of togetherness... A joyful hullabaloo mixing genres and generations. More capable than any other festival of bringing audiences together around all music scenes, orchestrated by Bernard Aubert’s imaginative mosaic of a programme, the Fiesta also invites urban art and street food to its table to provide some delicious encounters. Intoxicating rhythms, discovering new faces, new sounds, pitching from one spot to another, melting into the warm embrace of Indian-summer nights. Your bearings lost each evening. Once again, the Fiesta has committed to supporting the new music scene, devoting to it the aptly named Embarcadère space.
