The Musée d'Art has found a new way to look at the culinary identity of Provence – through pictorial representations from the latter half of the 19th century through to the 1930s. Over a hundred works to sharpen our perceptions and titillate our tastebuds. Provençal painters better known for their landscapes and other artists who settled in the South regale us with still lifes, market scenes and paintings of mealtimes, kitchen interiors and tables laid ready. Yummy.
