Films of Lou Reed and John Cale concerts, photos of J.-M. Basquiat and Keith Haring and an evocation of Valérie Solanas' assassination attempt are on show along with many of the materials, photos, magazines and miscellaneous objects that Andy Warhol put away in cardboard boxes for posterity. The man who titled one of his sketches À la recherche du shoe perdu foresaw how these traces of the everyday, sanctified as "time capsules", would reinforce the axiom of Pop Art, "art for everyone", but also function like Proust's madeleine. These eight Time Capsules on loan from the Warhol Museum in Pittsburg give us intimate glimpses of the artist's daily life. You can see them as vestiges of a bygone time, or lose yourself in visions of 1970s New York. G.M
