On 28 May 1965, the Musée Réattu put on the very first photography exhibition, so presiding at the birth of a new and burgeoning art. Robert Doisneau and his contemporaries set out to conquer Arles and, over the following decades, the town’s relationship with photography developed steadily. As everyone knows, they are now inseparable. In this show 250 works pay homage to the art of photography.
