Berlin-based Swiss artist Marc Bauer shows how supremely effective drawing can be for story-telling and conveying feelings. The show has been specially tailored to the FRAC’s two-floor exhibition space and screening room; the result is breathtaking. Huge formats, projected on the screen or drawn in black and white in situ; freeze frame sequences inspired by the death camps or films by Eisenstein, Pasolini, Fassbinder and Murnau. The installation ends with an animated film.
