From pottery to repurposed scrap, Pablo Picasso was constantly drawing on the collective imagination and an iconography that makes one forget his supreme skill in composition. In painting, drawing and sculpture, his references to classical works are forgotten as he returns to the spontaneity of childhood. The exhibition design leads us with natural ease into a spectacular display of forms and colours.
