Van Gogh’s fiery genius is back in Arles for a third retrospective, curated by Sjraar van Heugten. The thirty-one works show how he constantly experimented to renew the traditional genres of portraiture, landscape and still life. We see all the originality of Van Gogh’s art and his exacting eye with regard to the classical references he learned from.
