“Writing in the face of world chaos”

Writers and artists converge on the charming little port of Cassis in its sweet spot between sea and sky. The town’s annual spring book fair takes over the Fondation Camargo, the convention centre and the harbour quaysides. The town council and fair organisers (headed by Michele Million and Lucienne Michelesi) invite a coterie of well-known figures in literature and the arts, this year including Patrick Poivre d’Arvor, Yann Queffélec, Franz-Olivier Giesbert, Marcel Rufo, Luc Ferry, Sylvie Le Bihan and Guy Bedos. Mariannick Saint-Céran and her musicians provide some cool jazz.
