The enjoyment of a visit here is also due to the astonishing owner, sculptor Gilles de Kerversau, who makes enchanting anthropomorphic bronzes reminiscent of Gothic or Romanesque gargoyles. His reputation is international and many of his works are now in prestigious collections. The fruits of his singular naturalistic talent make one think of Medieval images, La Fontaine’s fables or maybe Harry Potter. He also hosts temporary exhibitions; the preview parties are festive affairs frequented by fashion addicts, collectors and artists. A visit to Espace KM tends to end with an impulse buy – a unique item or an authentic signed and numbered bronze.
