Boris Charmatz: Dance at the Museum

For the 2018-9 season, Mucem (Musée de la Méditerranée) has invited Boris Charmatz to engage with the spirit of the building and its lacy concrete veil. The ex Paris Opera dancer turned choreographer has already created dance events at the Louvre, the Centre Pompidou and MoMA in New York, as well as spectacular street performances in which the public is drawn into into the dance. On 17 November Mucem presents a whole day with Boris Charmatz (discussions, performance, films) as prelude to the On Dance exhibition, due to start in late January 2019.
