This original initiative has brought together under one big (200m²) roof six independent traders with a passion for their produce, be it Corsican groceries, Spanish deli, cheese, seafood or roast meats. There's also a coffee shop with a fine selection of teas, coffees and chocolates which you can taste on the spot. Jérémy Depieds was inspired by Madrid's San Miguel market to try and create something like it in Marseille. And he's succeeded: the convivial vibe of a colourful covered market hits you as soon as you walk in. Jérémy's wager was to bring together trades that were lacking in the neighbourhood, adding to the area's food offering rather than competing with it. So come, look, buy, taste, take away or stand and chat.

Open till 10pm three nights a week, closed Mondays.

33 rue d'Endoume, Marseille 7e
