La Presqu'île, between Port-Miou and Cassis bay, is one of the most enchanting places along the shoreline. The gastronomic restaurant has been going since 1978, but with Ringo Schulz now at the helm it has had a makeover. The young German chef, who has previously worked with Nicolas Vie and run the kitchens at La Réserve in Albi, cooks up a menu of highly inventive but still thoroughly Mediterranean fare. So don't even think of not coming here to give your tastebuds a field day while drinking in the panoramic view from the terrace. But there's more: La Presqu'île also has a brasserie called Tennis Club and in spring La Plage Bleue opens, a wonderful place with shady terrace and uncomplicated cuisine.
