« Miroir, oh mon beau miroir, dis-moi si je suis la plus jolie vue de Marseille ? »

Being in the neighbourhood of Château d'If, this luxury hotel has made an asset of the Count of Monte-Cristo connection. Its eagerly-awaited 150m² skylounge on the 7th floor, now open, is called the Dantès, the name of Alexander Dumas' hero before he becomes a Count. The new cocktail and champagne bar with its 180° panoramic view has over 40 cocktails on its menu including some excellent champagnes and a signature cocktail, the Dantès, made with rum and local plants. The décor, chiming with the rest of the hotel, is largely white with walls of glass beads and mirrors that show multiple reflections of the view, from MuCEM right across to Notre Dame de la Garde. Open midday to 1am, with DJ on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
