Feast for the tastebuds

Claire and Julien Drouot have a new restaurant in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. They’ve treated themselves to a wood-fired oven, in which Julien grills choice meats and vegetables, the embers blending the aromas of oil and meat juice. Claire will delight your palate with her desserts and is a dab hand at choosing wines, with an avowed penchant for Loire Valley origins. This is practically gastronomy-level fare, but at reasonable prices (lunchtime meal deal €23, five-course tasting menu €65).
