When 12-year-old Pierre-Antoine Denis was at school in Provence he used to walk past this little house and promise himself that one day it would be his. Perhaps Providence was listening; anyway last December the chef who used to run the Cantinetta welcomed his first customers to Otto, his new restaurant in the house he had so long dreamed of. The place is a temple to good produce that our host has tasted and tested many a time: PGI Parma ham, burrata Pugliese, quality bresaola, salad rocket and parmesan, artisanal brandade de morue. There’s gorgonzola with a spoon, stracchino del Monte Bronzone to die for, fior di latte ice, lemon sorbet and more. Unforgettable!
