Six million euros were invested to give travellers these 2500m² of additional leisure space, catering facilities and shops. The redesigned security area is bigger and less noisy, and there are now more seats for passengers. But the most remarkable part is the 1100m² cutting edge shopping area. The new retail zone features a next-generation Aelia Duty Free, a big space geared to computer-aided high performance and customer service quality via The Art of the Gift. Its sales strategy is based on collaboration with duty-free market leaders in perfumes, cosmetics, wine and spirits, tobacco and confectionery. There's also a new Relay shop, heralding a concept that will be rolled out for all the stores in the chain. It offers travellers culture, amusement, news, information, digital equipment, snacks and drinks, and standby items that can be essential for a comfortable journey. It also has a kids' area with a toy
tree, suitable reading matter and a gaming touchscreen. Relay France is also the firm behind the Air de Provence store, which sells emblematic Provençal products. La Tapenade, a new fast food facility with a colourful modern decor, focuses on Mediterranean flavours and produce – a helpful addition to Class'Croute in the public part of the terminal, which serves French-style sandwiches.
