Hermès has joined the contest for the most luxurious shop in town. It had moved to a pop-up store a few yards away while its original Aix shop on the corner of Rue Thiers was being refurbished; now it has moved back into a transformed space. The store is more spacious now (140m2) and better stocked. The brand with the equestrian credentials has its full range of products on display in a series of rooms with pale stone archways between. The iconic silk scarves of course, plus perfumes, leather goods, timewear and, last but not least, men’s and women’s wear.
