A veritable Sunday lunch ritual, Le Galet is an easy-to-find institution just opposite the Jardin Albert 1^er. Savour the pleasures of a lazy day to the sound of local bands. Sat at the bar, on a giant bed or at a table, everyone is treated to the same high standards. Decor is pared-back, a combination of navy blue and pristine white. The menu stays true to the beach restaurant’s reputation, with La Mamma’s recipes in its DNA. Dishes are generous to a fault, and desserts are more than tempting. Pizzas, burrata focaccia, beef tagliata, fritto misto and seafood linguine all feature on a menu that is always a pleasure to revisit.
