With his passion for gastronomy and cinema, Chef Jean Imbert created the menu for La Plage and the hotel Martinez, a mecca for the 7th Art and flavours. The bathing area has had a makeover to mark the occasion. Walking down to the beach feels like stepping aboard an elegant yacht! And it’s all thanks to designer Rémi Tessier, who has created a vast wooden terrace with an open kitchen and navy blue and terracotta decorative details for the restaurant area. The Director Chairs set around tables with the names of actors and directors that Chef Imbert loves – Martin Scorsese, Grace Kelly, Cary Grant, Audrey Hepburn and more – are reminiscent of film sets. The chef puts the spotlight on shared Mediterranean cuisine, using local seasonal produce.
